Happy Sunday!

Today my girl turned TEN. Such a milestone to hit. My babygirl. With being such a DIY human, I may have went a lil overboard. Like, Im pretty sure she was thinkin you doing too much. She's much more of let's do the bare minimum. And I'mmore, let's CELEBRATE!!!

Lets start with her handmade birthday card. I got to pull out my glitter cardstock for this one ✨️ I picked the most beautiful sloth for my sloth loving girl. Added an overlay, duplicated, flipped and welded with a rectangle. Cut the overlay with black glitter cardstock and the sloth with the blue glitter. A few spots got butchered in the sloth and thats ok. First timer, freshman mistake. She loved it anyhow 💙 I hope she keeps it forever.

We did bookbag keychains out of chipwood for each kid. About 4 in wide or so. Definitely should be more in tune with measurements because they came out huge lol. Luckily it's only their first initials. Left em blank so the kids can design them as they please (paint, markers, stickers 🤷🏿‍♀️). Along side the Birthday Crew sashes. They were pretty partial to the sashes - not real convenient while at a jump park. Opps.

I stopped there to keep it within her liking. Balance between mom wanting to do all the things and babygirl wanting to keep it minimal. All turned out amazing! Spent a few late hours to get it done. Well worth it!

Nothing beats the joy she got from her day. How proud my son and husband were of my creations. This is me finding my piece of peace and balancing being a wife, mom, and employee. Everyday and every project is not perfect - life be lifeing. But its proving to be worth it for all of us.

How are you finding a balance? Are you finding a balance? 👀 let me know in the comments!

Talk later!

Love,

Your favorite Craftin Ass Blk Grl ✨️
