New Moon, New Me: The Season Of Letting Go And Leveling Up

Hey y'all!!

I don't even know where to start with this one cause it's a lot, but that's kinda the point of this blog, right? Be open, be upfront, be relatable. So let's get into it.

There's a new moon right now and I'm not usually one to be loud about my "manifestation era," but this one hit different. New moon, new beginnings, new energy, new vibes. I didn't set one big fancy intention or nothing like that — I'm just standing in the feeling of it. And honestly the timing couldn't be more real, cause a whole lot is shifting in my life all at once.

Let's start with my body, cause this one matters the most to me. December, I'm finally getting my hysterectomy. Y'all already know I been dealing with heavy, painful, unpredictable periods since my youngest was born three years ago, and it took me fighting, over and over, to get an OBGYN to actually hear me and take it seriously. That's the part I really want y'all to sit with. Don't stop until you're listened to. Know your body. You live in it every single day, you know when something ain't right, and you don't owe nobody in a white coat your silence just cause they got a degree and you don't. I kept pushing, kept advocating, kept going back until somebody finally heard me, and now I got an actual date on the calendar. I'm nervous, that's just human, but mostly? I'm relieved. My body deserves this, and so does yours if you're out here fighting the same fight.

Then there's my job. I interviewed for a new position, and honestly this one's got me in my feelings in a way I wasn't expecting. I'm proud of myself, I put myself out there for growth and that matters. But at the same time, this opportunity is coming up because of layoffs and other people making the hard choice to leave, and that part sits heavy on me. It's a weird place to be, happy for myself and sad for other people, at the exact same time. My brain don't always know how to hold both of them feelings at once, but I'm learning both can exist together. Being excited for my own growth don't mean I don't feel for the people going through something hard right now. I'm holding space for all of it.

And then there's the business. My aunt is getting married, so get ready cause I'm about to be all in my wedding bag for a lil while. I've been playing with new pieces, including a wedding-style "peekaboo" wine glass, just as an example of what I can create for somebody's big day.

Bridal parties, showers, wedding gifts, whatever y'all need — I got options coming, and if you're already thinking about getting something ordered soon, just know 15over30 will knock 15% off any order over $30 whenever you're ready.

New life. New energy. New vibes. My body, my career, my family, my business, all shifting at the same time, and for once it don't feel like too much, it feels like it's finally my season.

Love Always,
