Hey Crafty Fam! Y'all know I was absolutely GEEKED to launch my first-ever holiday product: the Santa Cam Ornament! I spent hours perfecting the design, weeding that vinyl, and making sure the final product was black, sleek, and giving maximum "Mommy said Santa is always watching" energy. It was my baby, my debut product, and I was ready for the internet to bow down to my crafting prowess!
I posted the finished product, ready for the praise, the hearts, and the inevitable rush of orders. I was on a cloud!
The Silent Treatment of Shame 😅
Here is where the betrayal hits, fam.
My picture was up. Orders weren't coming in. And not one single soul—not a single friend, not a single follower, not a single one of you in my DMs—said: "Sis, retract that and try again."

What I Thought I Was Selling vs. The Reality

I finally saw it after a fresh pair of eyes wandered by and asked, "Oh, is this a bowling ornament?" 🤦🏿♀️ The sheer confusion of mixing up a security camera graphic with a sports graphic during my most anticipated launch is a level of chaos only a true crafter can achieve.
The Lesson Learned (And the Redesign)
The beautiful thing about crafting is that if you mess up, you just peel, scrap, and cut again! I had to pull my listings faster than a reindeer runs from a grumpy elf, but I got back to the cutting machine.
